Matt's been designing for 15 years, for the likes of the National Trust, Sky, Lego, Save the Children and the Eden Project. He's been breaking the mould for almost as long: he set up the multi-award-winning Leap - design for change in 2004, merging his passions for design and the environment (he's won prizes and everything). Mainly, he's changed the way people think about design and, more broadly, how they work. Sounds like a big thing, IS a big thing; Matt opened the door and let sustainability in; no one will be shutting it any time soon.

After deciding she wanted to become a nurse, Charlie headed to college in 2000 to study adult nursing. Four years of A&E and two Marketing courses later, Charlie realized Nursing probably wasn’t the best (or safest?) place to express her creative side. So, she focused on Marketing and Event Management and when it was time for her to take on the real world in 2008, she did so readily.
After a stint at Cornwall & Devon Media she discovered her niche and hasn’t looked back since.
Charlie positively thrives here at Leap, having had years of marketing experience in graphic design, media and publishing, her communication and management skills go WAY beyond smiling and nodding.
Although she’s Leap's whizz at social media, she “does not like technology” … or maybe technology does not like her. Unclear.

Chris studied journalism at University College Falmouth; he first got a taste for all things Leap when he came on a work placement and just couldn't tear himself away. Chris specialises in marketing and PR, as well as writing snappy press releases and attention-grabbing award entries (in the short time he's been with Leap, he's already written a winning entry for the Media Innovation Awards).

Claire's followed up her ‘Unlocking Cornish Potential’ placement with two successful years. A graduate of Bath University, she's worked on loads of exciting projects, including The Little Book of Mind and for clients such as Bedruthan Steps Hotel, Good Energy and the National Trust. Creative and naturally talented, Claire's special knack is for translating concepts into images and illustrations.

With a degree in business, Claire is now working towards her chartered accountancy qualification. Having carved her way down the slopes in the ski industry abroad, Claire has moved 'off piste' and is now working for Leap three days a week. She is responsible for Leap's administration and cash flow; she greases Leap's financial cogs and in the process brings a calm and organised influence to the studio.

Like most graduates, Rich ended up taking a job that had very little to do with his degree (Games design & programming from Staffordshire Uni). He’s a self-taught programmer and started coding in 2009. He joined Leap shortly after and takes our digital projects to the next level.
He is always developing new skills, he enjoys what he does and is passionate about quality, the user experience and security.
When he's not behind his screen at work, he's behind his screen at home...in between playing with 2 year old Thomas of course.
He currently reigns as the employee who listens to the most obscure music.

During Lee’s graphic design career, which includes 4 years at Leap, he’s worked for leading organisations such as Shelterbox & Good Energy, creating top-notch identities for some of our local eco hero’s.
Aswell as playing creative at Leap, his remarkable photographic skills have often been utilized by our hotel and B&B clients.
Away from his mac you’ll find him simultaneously surfing the local waves of St Ives and taking epic shots….or obsessively making cups of tea.
